6And David distributed them by the vices: routes or dishes; the priestly divisions, the rotated turns of temple service of the children of Levi, to wit, of Gerson, and Caath, and Merari.And Dauid distributed them by the courses of the children of Leui, to witte, of Gerson, and Caath, and Merari.Et distribuit eos David per vices filiorum Levi, Gerson videlicet, et Caath, et Merari.

25For David said: Our Lord the God of Israel hath given rest to his people, and the habitation of Jerusalem for ever.For Dauid sayd: Our Lord the God of Israel hath geuen rest to his people, and the habitation of Ierusalem for euer.Dixit enim David : Requiem dedit Dominus Deus Israël populo suo, et habitationem Jerusalem usque in æternum.
26Neither shall it be the office of the Levites to carry any more the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof to minister.Neither shal it be the office of the Leuites to carie any more the tabernacle, and al the vessels therof to minister.Nec erit officii Levitarum ut ultra portent tabernaculum et omnia vasa ejus ad ministrandum.
27According to the last precepts also of David the number of the children of Levi shall be numbered from twenty years and upward.According to the last preceptes also of Dauid the number of the children of Leui shalbe numbred from twentie yeares and vpward.Juxta præcepta quoque David novissima, supputabitur numerus filiorum Levi a viginti annis et supra.
28And they shall be under the hand of the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of our Lord, in the entrances, and in the chambers, and in the place of purification, and in the Sanctuary, and in all the works of the ministry of the temple of our Lord.And they shal be vnder the hand of the sonnes of Aaron for the seruice of the house of our Lord, in the entrances, and in the chambers, and in the place of purification, and in the Sanctuarie, and in al the workes of the ministerie of the temple of our Lord.Et erunt sub manu filiorum Aaron in cultum domus Domini, in vestibulis, et in exedris, et in loco purificationis, et in sanctuario, et in universis operibus ministerii templi Domini.
29And the Priests, over the loaves of propositionis: a proposal; the showbread, the loaves set forth before the Lord, and for the sacrifice of flour, and for cakes and azyma: unleavened cakes, and the frying pan, and to roast, and over all weight and measure.And the Priestes, ouer the loaues of proposition, and for the sacrifice of floure, and for cakes and azimes, and the frying panne, and to rost, and ouer al weight and measure.✦Sacerdotes autem, super panes propositionis, et ad similæ sacrificium, et ad lagana azyma, et sartaginem, et ad torrendum, et super omne pondus atque mensuram.
30But the Levites to stand in the morning to confess, and sing to our Lord: and in like manner at evening,But the Leuites to stand in the morning to confesse, and sing to our Lord: and in like maner at euening,Levitæ vero ut stent mane ad confitendum et canendum Domino : similiterque ad vesperam,
31as well in the oblation of the holocaustorum: whole burnt offerings of our Lord, as in the Sabbaths and calendis: the first days of the month, the new moons, and the rest of the solemnities, according to the number, and ceremonies of every thing, continually before our Lord.as wel in the oblation of the holocaustes of our Lord, as in the Sabbathes and Calendes, and the rest of the solemnities, according to the number, and ceremonies of euerie thing, continually before our Lord.tam in oblatione holocaustorum Domini, quam in sabbatis et calendis et solemnitatibus reliquis juxta numerum et cæremonias uniuscujusque rei, jugiter coram Domino.
