2and said before his brethren, and the multitude of the Samaritans: What do the imbecilles: foolish, frivolous; feeble, weak Jews? Will the gentiles let them alone? Shall they sacrifice and accomplish in one day? Why, are they able to build up the stones out of the heaps of dust, that are burnt?and sayd before his bretheren, and the multitude of the Samaritanes: What doe the sillie Iewes? 22At that time also I said to the people: Let every man with his servant tarry in the midst of Jerusalem, and let there be vices: routes, directions; turns, alternating shifts among us by day and night to work.At that time also I sayd to the people: Let euery man with his seruant tarry in the middes of Ierusalem, and let there be courses among vs by day and night to worke.✦In tempore quoque illo dixi populo : Unusquisque cum puero suo maneat in medio Jerusalem, et sint nobis vices per noctem et diem ad operandum.
