5And he destroyed the soothsayers, which the kings of Juda had appointed to sacrifice in the excelsis: the high places, the idolatrous hill-shrines in the cities of Juda, and round about Jerusalem: and them that burnt incense to Baal, and to the Sun, and to the Moon, and to the twelve signs, and to all the host of heaven.And he destroyed the Southsayers, which the kinges of Iuda had appointed to sacrifice in the excelses in the cities of Iuda, and round about Ierusalem: and them that burnt incense to Baal, and to the Sunne, and to the Moone, and to the twelue signes, and to al the host of heauen.Et delevit aruspices quos posuerant reges Juda ad sacrificandum in excelsis per civitates Juda, et in circuitu Jerusalem : et eos qui adolebant incensum Baal, et soli, et lunæ, et duodecim signis, et omni militiæ cæli.

18And he said: Let him alone, let no man move his bones. 24Yea and the pythones: diviners possessed of an oracular or familiar spirit, not the serpent, and soothsayers, and the images of idols, and the immunditias: idolatrous uncleannesses, the abominations of idolatry (not mere dirt, and not images), and the abominations, that had been in the land of Juda and Jerusalem, Iosias took away: that he might establish the words of the law, that were written in the Book, which Helcias the priest found in the temple of our Lord.Yea and the Pythones, and Southsayers, and the images of idols, and the filthes, and the abominations, that had bene in the land of Iuda and Ierusalem, Iosias tooke away: that he might establish the wordes of the law, that were writen in the Booke, which Helcias the priest found in the temple of our Lord.Sed et pythones, et ariolos, et figuras idolorum, et immunditias, et abominationes, quæ fuerant in terra Juda et Jerusalem, abstulit Josias : ut statueret verba legis quæ scripta sunt in libro quem invenit Helcias sacerdos in templo Domini.
