In those days Ezechias was sick even to death, and Isaias the son of Amos the prophet, went in unto him, and said to him: Thus saith our Lord: Take dispone: set in order, dispose thy affairs with thy house, for thou shalt die, and shalt not live.IN those dayes Ezechias was sick euen to death, and Isaie the sonne of Amos the prophet, went in vnto him, and said to him: Thus sayth our Lord: Take order with thy house, for thou shalt die, and shalt not liue.✦In diebus illis ægrotavit Ezechias usque ad mortem ; et introivit ad eum Isaias, filius Amos, propheta, et dixit ei : Hæc dicit Dominus : Dispone domui tuæ, quia morieris tu, et non vives.

3and said: I beseech thee Lord, remember I pray thee how I have walked before thee in truth, and in a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thine eyes. 6and out of the hand of the king of the Assyrians will I deliver thee: and this city, and will protect it.and out of the hand of the king of the Assirians wil I deliuer thee: and this citie, and wil protect it.et de manu regis Assyriorum eruam te, et civitatem istam, et protegam eam.

8Behold I will make the shadow of the lines return, by the which it is now gone down in the dial of Achaz in the sun, backward ten lines. 10I have said: In the midst of my days shall I go to the gates of hell. I have sought the residue of my years.I haue said : In the middes of my daies shal I goe to the gates of hel. I haue sought the residue of my yeares.✦Ego dixi in dimidio dierum meorum : Vadam ad portas inferi ; quæsivi residuum annorum meorum.
11I have said: I shall not see our Lord God in the land of the living. I shall behold man no more, and the inhabiter of rest.I haue said: I shal not see our Lord God in the land of the liuing. 15What shall I say, or what shall he answer me, whereas himself hath done it?What shal I say, or what shal he answer me, wheras him self hath done it?✦Quid dicam, aut quid respondebit mihi, cum ipse fecerit ? Recogitabo tibi omnes annos meos in amaritudine animæ meæ.
16I will recount to thee all my years in the bitterness of my soul. Lord if man's life be such, and the life of my spirit in such things, thou shalt chasten me, and shalt quicken me.I wil recount to thee al my yeares in the bitternes of my soule. 20O Lord save me, and we shall sing our psalms all the days of our life in the house of our Lord.O Lord saue me, and we shal sing our psalmes al the dayes of our life in the house of our Lord.✦Domine, salvum me fac ! et psalmos nostros cantabimus cunctis diebus vitæ nostræ in domo Domini.
21And Isaias commanded that they should take a lump of figs, and plaster it upon the wound, and he should be healed.And Isaie commanded that they should take a lumpe of figges, & plaster it vpon the wound, and he should be healed.✦Et jussit Isaias ut tollerent massam de ficis, et cataplasmarent super vulnus, et sanaretur.
22And Ezechias said: What shall be the sign that I shall go up into the house of our Lord?And Ezechias sayd : What shal be the signe that I shal goe vp into the house of our Lord?✦Et dixit Ezechias : Quod erit signum quia ascendam in domum Domini ?
