2Hear I beseech you my words, and do penance.Heare I beseech you my wordes, and doe penance.Audite, quæso, sermones meos, et agite pœnitentiam.
3Bear with me, that I also may speak, and after my words, if it shall seem good, laugh ye.Beare with me, that I also may speake, and after my wordes, if it shal seme good, laugh ye.Sustinete me, et ego loquar : et post mea, si videbitur, verba, ridete.
