2And Jonas prayed to our Lord his God out of the belly of the fish.And Ionas b prayed to our Lord his God out of the bellie of the fish.✦Et oravit Jonas ad Dominum Deum suum de ventre piscis,
3And he said: I cried out of my tribulation to our Lord, and he hath heard me: out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou hast heard my voice.And he sayd: I cryed out of my tribulation to our Lord, & he hath heard me: out of the bellie of hel cried I, and thou hast heard my voice.✦et dixit : Clamavi de tribulatione mea ad Dominum, et exaudivit me ; de ventre inferi clamavi, et exaudisti vocem meam.

6The waters have compassed me even to the soul: the depth hath enclosed me, the sea hath covered my head.The waters haue compassed me euen to the soule: the depth hath inclosed me, the sea hath couered my head.✦Circumdederunt me aquæ usque ad animam : abyssus vallavit me, pelagus operuit caput meum.

9They that keep vanitates: empty, worthless false things, futilities, not conceit in vain, forsake their mercy.They that kepe vanities in vaine, forsake their mercie.✦Qui custodiunt vanitates frustra, misericordiam suam derelinquunt.
10But I in the voice of praise will immolabo: offer in sacrifice, sacrifice to thee: what things soever I have vowed I will render for salvation to our Lord.But I in the voice of prayse wil immolate to thee: what thinges soeuer I haue vowed I wil render for saluation to our Lord.✦Ego autem in voce laudis immolabo tibi : quæcumque vovi, reddam pro salute Domino.
11And our Lord spake to the fish: and it vomited up Jonas upon the dry land.And our Lord d spake to the fish: and it vomited vp Ionas vpon the drie land.✦Et dixit Dominus pisci, et evomuit Jonam in aridam.
