2Receive O Lord my words with thine ears, understand my cry.RECEIVE ô Lord my wordes with thine eares, vnderstand my crie.Verba mea auribus percipe, Domine ; intellige clamorem meum.

3Attend to the voice of my prayer, my king and my God.Attend to the voice of my prayer, my king and my God.Intende voci orationis meæ, rex meus et Deus meus.

4Because I will pray to thee: Lord in the morning thou wilt hear my voice.Because I wil pray to thee: Lord in the morning thou wilt heare my voice.Quoniam ad te orabo, Domine : mane exaudies vocem meam.

5In the morning I will stand by thee and will see: because thou art not a God that wilt iniquity. In the morning I wil stand by thee and wil see: because thou art not a God that wilt iniquitie.Mane astabo tibi, et videbo quoniam non Deus volens iniquitatem tu es.

6Neither shall the malignus: cancerous, harmful (of disease); the malicious one, evildoer dwell near thee: neither shall the unjust abide before thine eyes.Neither shal the malignant dwel neere thee: neither shal the vniust abide before thine eies.Neque habitabit juxta te malignus, neque permanebunt injusti ante oculos tuos.

7Thou hatest all that work iniquity: thou wilt destroy all that speak lie.Thou hatest al that worke iniquitie: thou wilt destroy al that speake lie.Odisti omnes qui operantur iniquitatem ; perdes omnes qui loquuntur mendacium. Virum sanguinum et dolosum abominabitur Dominus.

8The bloody and deceitful man our Lord will abhor:The bloudie and deceitful man our Lord wil abhorre:Odisti omnes qui operantur iniquitatem ; perdes omnes qui loquuntur mendacium. Virum sanguinum et dolosum abominabitur Dominus.

9But I in the multitude of thy mercy. I will enter into thy house: I will adore toward thy holy temple in thy fear. Lord deduc: manage, direct one's behaviour; lead, guide me in thy justice: because of mine enemies direct my way in thy sight. But I in the multitude of thy mercy. I wil enter into thy house: I wil adore toward thy holie temple in thy feare. Lord conduct me in thy iustice: because of mine enimies direct my way in thy sight.Ego autem in multitudine misericordiæ tuæ introibo in domum tuam ; adorabo ad templum sanctum tuum in timore tuo. Domine, deduc me in justitia tua : propter inimicos meos dirige in conspectu tuo viam meam.

10Because there is no truth in their mouth: their heart is vain.Because there is no truth in their mouth: their hart is vayne.Quoniam non est in ore eorum veritas ; cor eorum vanum est.

11Their throat is an open sepulchre, they did deceitfully with their tongues, judge them O God.Their throte is an open sepulchre, they did deceitfully with their tongues, iudge them ô God.Sepulchrum patens est guttur eorum ; linguis suis dolose agebant : judica illos, Deus. Decidant a cogitationibus suis ; secundum multitudinem impietatum eorum expelle eos, quoniam irritaverunt te, Domine.

12Let them fail of their cogitationibus: thoughts, devices, according to the multitude of their impieties expel them, because they have provoked thee O Lord.Let them faile of their cogitations, according to the multitude of their impieties expel them, because they haue prouoked thee ô Lord.Sepulchrum patens est guttur eorum ; linguis suis dolose agebant : judica illos, Deus. Decidant a cogitationibus suis ; secundum multitudinem impietatum eorum expelle eos, quoniam irritaverunt te, Domine.

13And let all be glad, that hope in thee, they shall rejoice for ever: and thou shalt dwell in them. And all that love thy name shall glory in thee, because thou wilt bless the just. And let al be glad, that hope in thee, they shal reioyce for euer: and thou shalt dwel in them. And al that loue thy name shal glorie in thee, because thou wilt blesse the iust.Et lætentur omnes qui sperant in te ; in æternum exsultabunt, et habitabis in eis. Et gloriabuntur in te omnes qui diligunt nomen tuum,

14Lord, as with a shield of thy good will, thou hast crowned us.Lord, as with a shield of thy good wil, thou hast crowned vs.quoniam tu benedices justo. Domine, ut scuto bonæ voluntatis tuæ coronasti nos.

5Not a God that wilt iniquity. Seeing God will not iniquity, as these words testify in plain terms, it followeth necessarily, that he is not author, nor cause of any sin. For God doth nothing contrary to his own will. But he hateth iniquity, and in respect thereof hateth all that work iniquity, as the authors of iniquity, though he loveth them as his creatures and of his part requireth their salvation. Not a God that wilt iniquitie.
