And I turned and lifted up mine eyes: and I saw, and behold a volumen: a written scroll or book-roll: not a tome or a loudness flying.AND I turned and lifted vp myne eyes: and I saw, and a behold a volume b flying.Et conversus sum, et levavi oculos meos, et vidi, et ecce volumen volans.

And he said to me: What seest thou? And I said: I see a volume flying: the length thereof of twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof of ten cubits. And he sayd to me: What seest thou? And I sayd: I see a volume flying: the length therof of twentie cubits, and the breadth therof of ten cubits.Et dixit ad me : Quid tu vides ? Et dixi : Ego video volumen volans : longitudo ejus viginti cubitorum, et latitudo ejus decem cubitorum.

And he said to me: This is the maledictio: a curse, evil called down upon a person, that goeth forth upon the face of the earth: because every thief, as is there written, shall be judged: and every swearer, by it in like manner shall be judged. And he sayd to me: This is the malediction, that goeth forth vpon the face of the earth: because euerie theefe, as is there written, shal be iudged: and euerie swearer, by it in like maner shal be iudged.

I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of exercituum: armies: the heavenly armies, not guests: and it shall come to the house of the thief, and to the house of him that sweareth by my name falsely: and it shall abide in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, and the timber thereof, and the stones thereof.I wil bring it forth, sayth the Lord of hosts: and it shal come to the house of the theefe, and to the house of him that sweareth by my name falsly: & it shal abide in the middes of his house, and shal consume it, and the timber therof, and the stones therof.

And the Angel went out that spake in me: and he said to me: Lift up thine eyes, and see what is this, that goeth forth. And the Angel went out that spake in me: and he sayd to me: Lift vp thine eyes, and see what is this, that goeth forth.

And I said: What is it? And he said: This is an amphora: a large two-handled vessel; here the ephah measure going forth. And he said: This is their eye in all the earth. And I sayd: What is it? And he sayd: This is an amphore going forth. And he sayd: This is their eye in al the earth.Et dixi : Quidnam est ? Et ait : Hæc est amphora egrediens. Et dixit : Hæc est oculus eorum in universa terra.

And behold a talentum: a weight, a heavy mass of metal: not an aptitude of lead was carried, and lo one woman sitting in the midst of the amphore. And behold a talent of lead was caried, and loe one woman sitting in the middes of the amphore.Et ecce talentum plumbi portabatur, et ecce mulier una sedens in medio amphoræ.

And he said: This is impiety. And he threw her in the midst of the amphore, and cast a lump of lead upon the mouth thereof. And he sayd: This is impietie. And he threw her in the middes of the amphore, and cast a lumpe of lead vpon the mouth therof.Et dixit : Hæc est impietas. Et projecit eam in medio amphoræ, et misit massam plumbeam in os ejus.

And I lifted up mine eyes, and saw: and behold two women coming forth, and spirit in the wings of them, and they had wings as the wings of a milvi: the bird of prey: not a flown toy: and they lifted up the amphore between the earth and the heaven. And I lifted vp mine eyes, and saw: and behold c two wemen coming forth, and spirit in the winges of them, and they had winges as the winges of a kite: and they lifted vp the amphore betwen the earth and the heauen.

And I said to the Angel that spake in me: Whither do these carry the amphore? And I sayd to the Angel that spake in me: Whither do these carie the amphore?

And he said to me: That a house may be built for it in the land of Sennaar, and it may be established, and set there upon the foundation thereof. And he sayd to me: That a house may be built for it in the land d of Sennaar, and it may be established, and set there vpon the foundation therof.Et dixit ad me : Ut ædificetur ei domus in terra Sennaar, et stabiliatur, et ponatur ibi super basem suam.
