5And now thus saith the Lord of hosts? Set your hearts upon your ways.And now thus sayth the Lord of hostes? Set your hartes vpon your wayes.✦Et nunc hæc dicit Dominus exercituum : Ponite corda vestra super vias vestras.

8go up into the mountain, carry timber, and build the house: and it shall be acceptable to me, and I shall be glorified, saith our Lord.go vp into the mountayne, carie timber, and build the house: and it shal be acceptable to me, and I shal be glorified, sayth our Lord.✦ascendite in montem, portate ligna, et ædificate domum : et acceptabilis mihi erit, et glorificabor, dicit Dominus.
9You have looked for more, and behold exsufflavi: blew it away became less, and you brought it into the house, and I puffed at it: for what cause saith the Lord of hosts? because my house is desert, and you hasten every man into his own house.You haue looked for more, and behold it became lesse, and you brought it into the house, and I puft at it: for what cause sayth the Lord of hosts? because my house is desert, and you hasten euerie man into his owne house.✦Respexistis ad amplius, et ecce factum est minus ; et intulistis in domum, et exsufflavi illud : quam ob causam ? dicit Dominus exercituum : quia domus mea deserta est, et vos festinatis unusquisque in domum suam.

12And Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and Jesus the son of Josedec the high priest, and all the remnant of the people heard the voice of their God, and the words of Aggeus the prophet, as our Lord their God sent him to them: and the people feared at the face of our Lord.And Zorobabel the sonne of Salathiel, and Iesus the sonne of Iosedec the high priest, & al the remnant of the people heard the voice of their God, & the wordes of Aggeus the prophet, as our Lord their God sent him to them: & the people feared at the face of our Lord.✦Et audivit Zorobabel, filius Salathiel, et Jesus, filius Josedec, sacerdos magnus, et omnes reliquiæ populi, vocem Domini Dei sui, et verba Aggæi prophetæ, sicut misit eum Dominus Deus eorum ad eos, et timuit populus a facie Domini.
13And Aggeus the messenger of our Lord, of the messengers of our Lord spake, saying to the people: I am with you, saith our Lord.And Aggeus the messenger of our Lord, d of the messengers of our Lord spake, saying to the people: I am with you, sayth our Lord.✦Et dixit Aggæus, nuntius Domini de nuntiis Domini, populo dicens : Ego vobiscum sum, dicit Dominus.
14And our Lord raised up the spirit of Zorobabel the son of Salathiel duke of Juda, and the spirit of Jesus the son of Josedec the grandpriest, and the spirit of the rest of all the people: and they went in, and did the work in the house of the Lord of hosts their God.And our Lord raysed vp the spirit of Zorobabel the sonne of Salathiel duke of Iuda, and the spirit of Iesus the sonne of Iosedec the grandpriest, and the spirit of the rest of al the people: and they went in, and did the worke in the house of the Lord of hostes their God.✦Et suscitavit Dominus spiritum Zorobabel, filii Salathiel, ducis Juda, et spiritum Jesu, filii Josedec, sacerdotis magni, et spiritum reliquorum de omni populo : et ingressi sunt, et faciebant opus in domo Domini exercituum, Dei sui.
