Thou shalt make also an Altar to burn incense, of the wood setim,THOU shalt make also an Altar to burne incense, of the wood setim,Facies quoque altare ad adolendum thymiama, de lignis setim,
2having a cubit of length, and another of breadth, that is, four square, and two cubits in height. The horns shall proceed out of the same.hauing a cubite of length, and another of bredth, that is, foure square, and two cubites in height. The hornes shal procede out of the same.habens cubitum longitudinis, et alterum latitudinis, id est, quadrangulum, et duos cubitos in altitudine. Cornua ex ipso procedent.
3And thou shalt plate it with the purest gold, as well the grate thereof, as the walls round about, and the horns. And thou shalt make to it a crown of gold round about,And thou shalt plate it with the purest gold, aswel the grate therof, as the walles round about, and the hornes. 4and two golden rings under the crown on either side, that the bars may be put into them, and the Altar may be carried.and two golden ringes vnder the crowne on either side, that the barres may be put into them, and the Altar may be caried.et duos annulos aureos sub corona per singula latera, ut mittantur in eos vectes, et altare portetur.
5The bars also themselves thou shalt make of the wood setim, and shalt plate them with gold.The barres also themselues thou shalt make of the wood setim, and shalt plate them with gold.Ipsos quoque vectes facies de lignis setim, et inaurabis.

7And Aaron shall burn incense upon it, sweetly fragrant, in the morning. When he shall dress the lamps, he shall burn it:And Aaron shal burne incense vpon it, sweetly fragrant, in the morning. 9You shall not offer upon it incense of another composition, nor oblation, and victim, neither shall you offer drink-offerings · Vulgate: libamina.You shal not offer vpon it incense of another composition, nor oblation, and victim, neither shal you offer libaments.Non offeretis super eo thymiama compositionis alterius, nec oblationem, et victimam, nec libabitis libamina.
10And Aaron shall pray upon the horns thereof once a year, with the blood of that which was offered for sin, and shall pacify upon it in your generations. It shall be most Holy to the Lord.And Aaron shal pray vpon the hornes therof once a yeare, with the bloud of that which was offered for sinne, & shal pacifie vpon it in your generations. 13And this shall every one give that passeth to the naming, half a sicle according to the measure of the temple. A sicle hath twenty oboles. The half part of a sicle shall be offered to the Lord.And this shal euery one giue that passeth to the naming, half a sicle according to the measure of the temple. A sicle hath twentie oboles. The half part of a sicle shal be offered to the Lord.Hoc autem dabit omnis qui transit ad nomen, dimidium sicli juxta mensuram templi (siclus viginti obolos habet) ; media pars sicli offeretur Domino.
14He that is accounted in the number, for twenty years and upward, shall give price.He that is accounted in the number, for twentie yeares and vpward, shal giue price.Qui habetur in numero, a viginti annis et supra, dabit pretium.
15The rich man shall not add to half a sicle, and the poor man shall diminish nothing.The rich man shal not adde to half a sicle, & the poore man shal diminish nothing.Dives non addet ad medium sicli, et pauper nihil minuet.
16And the money being received, which was contributed of the children of Israel, thou shalt deliver unto the uses of the tabernacle of testimony, that it may be a monument of them before the Lord, and he may be propitious to their souls.And the money being receiued, which was contributed of the children of Israel, thou shalt deliuer vnto the vses of the tabernacle of testimonie, that it may be a monument of them before the Lord, & he may be propitious to their soules.Susceptamque pecuniam, quæ collata est a filiis Israël, trades in usus tabernaculi testimonii, ut sit monimentum eorum coram Domino, et propitietur animabus eorum.

18Thou shalt make also a laver with his foot of brass, to wash in: and thou shalt set it between the tabernacle of the testimony and the Altar. And water being put into it,Facies et labrum æneum cum basi sua ad lavandum : ponesque illud inter tabernaculum testimonii et altare. Et missa aqua,
19Aaron and his sons shall wash therein their hands and feet,Aaron and his sonnes shal wash therein their handes and feete,lavabunt in ea Aaron et filii ejus manus suas ac pedes,
20when they are going into the tabernacle of testimony, and when they are to come unto the Altar, to offer on it incense to the Lord,when they are going into the tabernacle of testimonie, and when they are to come vnto the Altar, to offer on it incense to the Lord,quando ingressuri sunt tabernaculum testimonii, et quando accessuri sunt ad altare, ut offerant in eo thymiama Domino,

23saying: Take spices, of principal and chosen myrrh five hundred sicles, and of cinnamon half so much, that is, two hundred fifty sicles, of calamus in like manner two hundred fifty,saying: Take spices, of principal and chosen myrrhe fiue hundred sicles, and of cinnamon halfe so much, that is, two hundred fiftie sicles, of calamus in like maner two hundred fiftie,dicens : Sume tibi aromata, primæ myrrhæ et electæ quingentos siclos, et cinnamomi medium, id est, ducentos quinquaginta siclos, calami similiter ducentos quinquaginta,
24and of cassia five hundred sicles after the weight of the Sanctuary, of oil of olives the measure hin:and of cassia fiue hundred sicles after the weight of the Sanctuarie, of oile of oliues the measure hin:casiæ autem quingentos siclos, in pondere sanctuarii, olei de olivetis mensuram hin :
25and thou shalt make the holy oil of unction, an ointment compounded by the art of an perfumer, maker of unguents · Vulgate: unguentarii,and thou shalt make the holie oile of vnction, an oyntment compounded by the art of an vnguentarie,faciesque unctionis oleum sanctum, unguentum compositum opere unguentarii,
26and thereof thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of testimony, and the ark of the testament,and therof thou shalt anoynt the tabernacle of testimonie, and the arke of the testament,et unges ex eo tabernaculum testimonii, et arcam testamenti,
27and the table with the vessel thereof, the candlestick, and the furniture thereof, the Altars of incense,and the table with the vessel therof, the candlesticke, and the furniture therof, the Altars of incense,mensamque cum vasis suis, et candelabrum, et utensilia ejus, altaria thymiamatis,
28and of holocaust, and all the furniture that pertaineth to the service of them.and of holocauste, and al the furniture that perteyneth to the seruice of them.et holocausti, et universam supellectilem quæ ad cultum eorum pertinet.
29And thou shalt sanctify all, and they shall be most Holy: he that shall touch them, shall be sanctified.And thou shalt sanctifie al, and they shal be most Holie: he that shal touch them, shal be sanctified.Sanctificabisque omnia, et erunt Sancta sanctorum ; qui tetigerit ea, sanctificabitur.
30Thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons, and shalt sanctify them, that they may do the function of priesthood unto me.Thou shalt anoynt Aaron and his sonnes, and shalt sanctifie them, that they may do the function of priesthood vnto me.Aaron et filios ejus unges, sanctificabisque eos, ut sacerdotio fungantur mihi.
31To the children of Israel also thou shalt say: This oil of unction shall be holy unto me through your generations.To the children of Israel also thou shalt say: This oile of vnction shal be holie vnto me through your generations.Filiis quoque Israël dices : Hoc oleum unctionis sanctum erit mihi in generationes vestras.
32The flesh of man shall not be anointed therewith, and you shall make none other after the composition of it, because it is sanctified, and shall be holy unto you.The flesh of man shal not be anoynted therwith, and you shal make none other after the composition of it, because it is sanctified, and shal be holie vnto you.Caro hominis non ungetur ex eo, et juxta compositionem ejus non facietis aliud, quia sanctificatum est, et sanctum erit vobis.
33What man soever shall compound such, and shall give thereof to a stranger, shall be abandoned out of his people.What man soeuer shal compound such, and shal giue therof to a stranger, shal be abandoned out of his people.Homo quicumque tale composuerit, et dederit ex eo alieno, exterminabitur de populo suo.
34And our Lord said to Moyses: Take unto thee spices, stacte, and onycha, galbanum of sweet savour, and the clearest frankincense, all shall be of equal weight:And our Lord said to Moyses: Take vnto thee spices, stacte, and onycha, galbanum of sweete sauour, and the clearest frankincense, al shal be of equal weight:Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen : Sume tibi aromata, stacten et onycha, galbanum boni odoris, et thus lucidissimum ; æqualis ponderis erunt omnia :
35and thou shalt make incense compounded by the work of an unguentarie, exactly tempered, and pure, and most worthy of sanctification.and thou shalt make incense compounded by the worke of an vnguentarie, exactly tempered, and pure, and most worthie of sanctification.faciesque thymiama compositum opere unguentarii, mistum diligenter, et purum, et sanctificatione dignissimum.
36And when thou hast beaten all into very small powder, thou shalt set of it before the tabernacle of testimony, in the place where I will appear to thee. Most Holy shall the incense be unto you.And when thou hast beaten al into very smal powder, thou shalt set of it before the tabernacle of testimonie, in the place where I wil appeare to thee. Most Holie shal the incense be vnto you.Cumque in tenuissimum pulverem universa contuderis, pones ex eo coram tabernaculo testimonii, in quo loco apparebo tibi. Sanctum sanctorum erit vobis thymiama.
37Such confection you shall not make unto your own uses, because it is holy to the Lord.Such confection you shal not make vnto your owne vses, because it is holie to the Lord.Talem compositionem non facietis in usus vestros, quia sanctum est Domino.
38What man soever shall make the like, to enjoy the smell thereof, shall perish out of his people.What man soeuer shal make the like, to enioy the smel therof, shal perish out of his people.Homo quicumque fecerit simile, ut odore illius perfruatur, peribit de populis suis.
