8But ten men were found among them, that said to Ismahel: Kill us not: because we have treasures in the field, of wheat, and barley, and oil, and honey. And Ismahel the son of Nathanias took them, and he went away, to pass unto the children of Ammon.And Ismahel led away captiue al the remnant of the people, that were in Masphath: the kings daughters, and al the people, that remained in Masphath: whom Nabuzardan the prince of the warre had commended to Godolias the sonne of Ahicam. 16Johanan therefore the son of Caree, and all the princes of the men of war, that were with him, took all the remnant of the common people, which they had brought back from Ismahel the son of Nathanias out of Masphath, after that he had stroke Godolias the son of Ahicam: strong men for battle, and women, and children, and eunuchs, which he had brought back from Gabaon.Iohanan therefore the sonne of Caree, and al the princes of the men of warre, that were with him, tooke al the remnant of the common people, which they had brought back from Ismahel the sonne of Nathanias out of Masphath, after that he had strooke Godolias the sonne of Ahicam: strong men for battel, and wemen, and children, & eunuches, which he had brought back from Gabaon.✦Tulit ergo Johanan filius Caree, et omnes principes bellatorum qui erant cum eo, universas reliquias vulgi quas reduxerat ab Ismahel filio Nathaniæ de Masphath, postquam percussit Godoliam filium Ahicam : fortes viros ad prælium, et mulieres, et pueros, et eunuchos, quos reduxerat de Gabaon.
