11And hearing these things we greatly feared, and our heart fainted, neither did there remain spirit in us at your entering in: for the Lord your God he is God in heaven above, and in the earth beneath. And hearing these thinges we greatly feared, and our hart fainted, neither did there remaine spirite in vs at your entring in: for the Lord your God he is God in heauen aboue, & in the earth beneth.Et hæc audientes pertimuimus, et elanguit cor nostrum, nec remansit in nobis spiritus ad introitum vestrum : Dominus enim Deus vester ipse est Deus in cælo sursum et in terra deorsum.

13that you save my father and mother, my brethren and sisters, and all things that be theirs, and deliver our souls from death.that you saue my father and mother, my brethren and sisters, and al thinges that be theirs, and deliuer our soules from death.ut salvetis patrem meum et matrem, et fratres ac sorores meas, et omnia quæ illorum sunt, et eruatis animas nostras a morte.

14Who answered her: Be our lives for you unto death, only if thou betray us not. And when our Lord shall have delivered us the land, we will do in thee mercy and truth.Who answered her: Be our liues for you vnto death, only if thou betray vs not. And when our Lord shal haue deliuered vs the land, we wil doe in thee mercie and truth.Qui responderunt ei : Anima nostra sit pro vobis in mortem, si tamen non prodideris nos : cumque tradiderit nobis Dominus terram, faciemus in te misericordiam et veritatem.

19He that shall go forth of the door of thy house, his blood shall be upon his head, and we shall be quit. But the blood of all that shall be with thee in the house, shall fall back, recoil upon · Vulgate: redundabit: will fall back upon upon our head, if any man touch them.He that shal goe forth of the doore of thy house, his blood shal be vpon his head, and we shal be quitte.
