3and you see all things, that our Lord your God hath done to all the nations round about, how himself hath fought for you:and you see al thinges, that our Lord your God hath done to al the nations round about, how him selfe hath fought for you:vosque cernitis omnia, quæ fecerit Dominus Deus vester cunctis per circuitum nationibus, quomodo pro vobis ipse pugnaverit :
4and now because he hath by lot divided to you all the Land, the East part of Jordan unto the great sea, and many nations yet remain:and now because he hath by lotte diuided to you al the Land, the East part of Iordan vnto the great sea, and manie nations yet remaine:et nunc quia vobis sorte divisit omnem terram, ab orientali parte Jordanis usque ad mare magnum, multæque adhuc supersunt nationes :

8but cling fast, hold fast to, not to split apart · Vulgate: adhæreatis to our Lord your God: which you have done until this day.but cleaue to our Lord your God: which you haue done vntil this day.sed adhæreatis Domino Deo vestro : quod fecistis usque in diem hanc.

12But if you will cleave to the error of these nations, that dwell among you, and make marriages with them, and join friendship, alliance, league · Vulgate: amicitias:But if you wil cleaue to the errour of these nations, that dwel among you, and make mariages with them, and ioyne amitie:Quod si volueritis gentium harum, quæ inter vos habitant, erroribus adhærere, et cum eis miscere connubia, atque amicitias copulare :
