Remember O Lord what is fallen to us: behold, and regard our reproach.REmember ô Lord what is fallen to vs: behold, and regard our reproch.✦Oratio Jeremiæ prophetæ. Recordare, Domine, quid acciderit nobis ; intuere et respice opprobrium nostrum.
2Our inheritance is turned to aliens: our houses to strangers.Our inheritance is turned to aliens: our houses to strangers.✦Hæreditas nostra versa est ad alienos, domus nostræ ad extraneos.
3We are made pupilli: schoolchildren, students; orphans, fatherless wards without father: our mothers are as it were widows.We are made b pupils without father: our mothers are as it were widowes.✦Pupilli facti sumus absque patre, matres nostræ quasi viduæ.

21Convert us O Lord to thee, and we shall be converted: renew our days, as from the beginning.g Conuert vs ô Lord to thee, and we shal be conuerted: renew our dayes, as from the beginning.✦Converte nos, Domine, ad te, et convertemur ; innova dies nostros, sicut a principio.
22But rejecting thou hast rejected us, thou art angry against us exceedingly.But reiecting thou hast reiected vs, h thou art angrie against vs excedingly.✦Sed projiciens repulisti nos : iratus es contra nos vehementer.
