13but if you shall not be able to solve it, you shall give me thirty sindones, and coats of the same number. Which thing if thou wilt not do, we will burn thee, and thy father's house: have you therefore called us to the bridal that you might despoil, rob, strip of goods, not to ruin or over-indulge · Vulgate: spoliaretis us?And when the seuenth day was come, they said to the wife of Samson: Speake to thy husband, and vse perswasion to him, that he tel thee what the riddle signifieth. Which thing if thou wilt not doe, we wil burne thee, and thy fathers house: haue you therfore called vs to the bridal that you might spoyle vs?Cumque adesset dies septimus, dixerunt ad uxorem Samson : Blandire viro tuo et suade ei ut indicet tibi quid significet problema : quod si facere nolueris, incendemus te, et domum patris tui : an idcirco vocastis nos ad nuptias ut spoliaretis ?
