3The south side shall begin from the wilderness of Sin, which is beside Edom: and it shall have toward the East the most salt sea for the limits.The southside shal beginne from the wildernesse Sin, which is beside Edom: and it shal haue toward the East the most salt sea for the limites.Pars meridiana incipiet a solitudine Sin, quæ est juxta Edom : et habebit terminos contra orientem mare salsissimum.

4The which shall go around, encircle, skirt, not a navigational instrument · Vulgate: circuibunt: they shall go around the south side by the ascending of the Scorpion, so that they shall pass into Senna, and reach toward the South as far as Cadesbarne, from whence the frontiers shall go forth to the town named Adar, and shall reach as far as Asemona.The which shal compasse the south side by the ascending of the Scorpion, so that they shal passe into Senna, and reach toward the South as farre as Cadesbarne, from whence the frontiers shal goe forth to the towne named Adar, and shal reach as farre as Asemona.Qui circuibunt australem plagam per ascensum Scorpionis, ita ut transeant in Senna, et perveniant a meridie usque ad Cadesbarne, unde egredientur confinia ad villam nomine Adar, et tendent usque ad Asemona.

7Moreover toward the North part the borders shall begin from the great sea, reaching unto the most high mountain,Moreouer toward the North part the borders shal beginne from the great sea, reaching vnto the most high mountaine,Porro ad septentrionalem plagam a mari magno termini incipient, pervenientes usque ad montem altissimum,

8from the which they shall come unto Emath as far as the borders of Sedada:from the which they shal come vnto Emath as farre as the borders of Sedada:a quo venient in Emath usque ad terminos Sedada :

9and the frontiers shall go as far as Sephrona, and the town Enan. These shall be the borders in the North part.and the frontiers shal goe as farre as Sephrona, and the towne Enan. 10From thence they shall mark out the bounds toward the East side from the village Enan unto Sephama,From thence they shal marke out the boundes toward the East side from the village Enan vnto Sephama,Inde metabuntur fines contra orientalem plagam de villa Enan usque Sephama,

11and from Sephama the bounds shall go down unto Rebla against the fountain Daphnim: from thence they shall come eastward to the sea Cenereth,and from Sephama the boundes shal goe downe vnto Rebla against the fountaine Daphnim: from thence they shal come eastward to the sea Cenereth,et de Sephama descendent termini in Rebla contra fontem Daphnim : inde pervenient contra orientem ad mare Cenereth,

12and shall reach as far as Jordan, and at the last shall be closed in by the most salt sea. This you shall have for your Land by the bounds thereof round about.and shal reach as farre as Iordan, and at the last shal be closed in by the most salt sea. This you shal haue for your Land by the boundes therof round about.et tendent usque ad Jordanem, et ad ultimum salsissimo claudentur mari. Hanc habebitis terram per fines suos in circuitu.
